ArtsQuest is thrilled to announce the return of Music Industry Day, an immersive event designed for students across Eastern Pennsylvania to explore the music industry.

Music Industry Day aims to provide the students with a behind-the-scenes experience of what it’s like to book, promote and put on a show in the Musikfest Café, a prominent entertainment venue in the Lehigh Valley, for over ten years. Students will hear from industry professionals in Music Programming and Production and connect with a diverse group of ArtsQuest employees, learning about potential careers in the music industry, marketing and arts nonprofits.

Participating schools include Liberty High School, Lehigh Valley Charter Arts, Nazareth High School, Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School, Warren Hills High School, Pennridge High School, Central Bucks West High School, Notre Dame High School, LaSalle College High School and Northern Lehigh High School.

The day will conclude with a live “Informance” from a local band, Dina Hall Trio. Additionally, students will submit artifacts in fulfillment of the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s Career Readiness Standards.

A special thank you to The Les Paul Foundation for their grant in support of Music Industry Day.
