EASTON, Pa.—Registration is now open for the 2025 Write Stuff Writers’ Conference, presented by the Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Group (GLWVG) on March 13-15, 2025, at Homewood Suites by Hilton, 3350 Center Parkway, Center Valley. One of the premier writing events in the area, the conference is open to writers in all genres at all levels of publication, from unpublished to several writing credits.
Tiffany Yates Martin is the keynote speaker and main presenter. Yates Martin has spent nearly 30 years as an editor working in the publishing industry with major publishers and The New York Times, Washington Post, USA Today, and The Wall Street Journal-bestselling and award-winning authors, as well as indie and newer authors. She is the founder of FoxPrint Editorial and the author of Intuitive Editing: A Creative and Practical Guide to Revising Your Writing. Yates Martin has experience on both sides of the page, having published six novels under the pen name Phoebe Fox. Yates Martin will present a full-day workshop on Backstory (incorporating flashbacks, point of view among them) on Friday, March 14 as well as two breakout sessions and the keynote, “Making Your Voice Heard in a Crowded Market”, on Saturday, March 15.
On Thursday, March 13, author, speaker, and book coach Michele Chynoweth will present a morning workshop on self-editing and afternoon workshops on publishing and marketing. For an additional $10, attendees can book a 15-minute marketing, editing, or book coaching appointment with Chynoweth on Friday or Saturday.
Along with the intensive workshops, the conference will feature appointment-only pitch sessions with editor Lawrence Knorr of Sunbury Press and agents Ginger Hutchinson with Movable Type Management and Amy Giuffrida with Belcastro Agency; a special Page Cuts critique session, evening speaker, and networking social on Friday evening, 14 breakout sessions on Saturday, networking opportunities, a book fair, and photo session appointments for author head shots with Lehigh Valley-based photographer Joan Zachary. Presenters include dramatist, author, and screenwriter Barry M. Putt, Jr.; forensic psychologist and author Katherine Ramsland, and novelist, essayist, and podcaster Suzanne Mattaboni.
