The Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber, proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, is gearing up for a memorable 2023 holiday season with their annual tree lighting ceremony in Slatington, PA – but this year with a twist due to Mother Nature.

With inclement weather on the horizon, the Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber will be hosting a virtual tree lighting in Veterans Memorial Park and streaming the video on the Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber Facebook Page on the evening of Friday, foregoing an in-person event in hopes of protecting the health and safety of our community by keeping them out of the rain.

“We are grateful for our community and their efforts to support local here in Slatington,” said Kylie Adams-Weiss, Assistant Vice President of Affiliated Chambers for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce and Liaison to the Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber. “We hold their health and safety in the highest regard, and while this is not the festive celebration we were originally planning, we know that the joy of the holidays is more than just one day; supporting our local business community and spreading holiday cheer will certainly last through the season.”
