WAKEUP for EDUCATION is a breakfast event and fundraiser, with proceeds benefiting the Wilson Area Partners in Education Foundation (WAPEF) and its mission to enhance the educational journeys of Wilson Area students. Together, guests will network and collectively celebrate two local change-makers and champions of Wilson Area education.

WHO: After thirty minutes of networking, WAPEF will share information regarding its mission and impact, and recognize two extraordinary leaders:

• Gary Laubach, esteemed Wilson Area alum, educator and coach. Mr. Laubach is also a legend in the field of sports broadcasting. He will receive the 2023 Educational Impact Award for the deep and meaningful impact he’s had in the lives of former Wilson Area students and athletes.

• Linda J. Grass, President of St. Luke’s University Health Network, Easton Campus. Ms. Grass will receive the 2023 Community Impact Award for her leadership and personal commitment to being a valued partner in education.
