BETHLEHEM, PA – Are you ready to begin a career in a high paying, in-demand field? Northampton Community College’s (NCC) FREE 8-week training program explores the many career paths available in Modern Manufacturing and teaches the skills necessary for entry-level positions. NCC will hold info sessions on January 12, 1 p.m., and January 19, 10 a.m., in the Fowler Family Southside Center, 511 E. Third St., Bethlehem, to go over important program information.
This program, funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, will start in February 2023. In addition to earning the OSHA-10 certification, students will receive basic training in: Lean Manufacturing, Blueprint Reading, Production, Automation, teamwork and more! Students will also have the opportunity to tour local facilities, explore careers within manufacturing, participate in a Career Day with local employers and complete hands-on training in our FabLab.
