It was a brisk 11 degrees on December 23rd, as I walked into a busy Italiano Delite. I was in search of warmth, like everyone else, but also some great food. I walked into a packed restaurant with non-stop take out,  and pick-up orders.  The Mannino family working hard and staying busy through the years.  Joe and Rosa Mannino are such a big part of the Lehigh Valley.  They make every person that walks through the doors feel like family.  Rosa remembers every face,  every name,  and the kindness from the Mannino’s is unmatched.  The food is made with love.  A ristorante steeped in history, and items for sale that come from Italy and Sicily.  They have everything from beautiful Oregano to Olive oil,  and pasta for sale. Italiano Delite was decorated for Christmas as usual.  Customers came in from the cold in search of an amazing meal or pizza.  Something to feed the soul along with some good conversations. The menu has a great variety of meals,  appetizers,  pizza including Sicília pizzas.

Italiano Delite has some exciting news as Joe Mannino revealed that they will be renovating Italiano Delite as the new year approaches,  a new and improved Italiano Delite will be on the horizon. The Mannino family is excited to share the news with the Lehigh Valley community. Renovations will start in January of 2023.

Italiano Delite has been such a big part of so many people’s lives and celebrations. I know I’ve celebrated quite a few events there over the years.  I know many people that have had birthday parties, anniversary parties, retirement parties, and more. Italiano Delite has managed to make an imprint in the Lehigh Valley. The Mannino family works hard. Italiano Delite was open seven days a week. It was only a few years ago, they decided to close for one day.  If you have ever sat in Italiano Delite, you know the atmosphere and it’s comfortable. There is a sense of home and happiness. The Mannino family created that over the years.
