Join the East Penn and Western Lehigh Chambers of Commerce as we tour Smooth-On, a local manufacturer with “Mind Blowing Materials for A World of Applications.” Located at 5600 Lower Macungie Rd, this tour will take place on October 12th from 11am- 1pm. Registration, networking, and lunch will take place from 11a-11:45a. A brief presentation will take place from 11:45a-12p then tours will go from 12-1p. Tickets are $40 for Members and $60 for Future Members. All are welcome to join!
Trey Bianco is the President and co-owner of Smooth-On Inc., a privately held manufacturer and distributor of liquid rubber and plastic systems. Their products are used to create many of the sets, props and special effects used in most movies throughout the world. Their products are also used to make molds for creating cast stone facades on buildings as well as the restoration of significant buildings from Washington DC to the Kremlin.
Smooth-On employs 250 people in a 365,000 square foot State of the Art automated manufacturing facility in Macungie PA and owns over 12 distribution hubs in major cities throughout the United States and Europe, and sells its products through over 500 distributors and 250,000 customers globally.
