Each year, the Minsi Trails Council awards leaders who have made significant contributions to the life of our community through unselfish leadership in education, business, government, industry, social work, or youth development. This year, Frank T. Smith is being honored with the “Good Scout Award”. Charles Stopp was also an award recipient this year. The award will be presented at the virtual Lehigh County Friends of Scouting Video Celebration held on Thursday, November 12th at 7 pm. You can access the event by visiting ministrails.org/LehighCounty.
Minsi Trails Council provides character education and leadership development to local youth in a fun and interactive environment. Scouting leads to positive outcomes such as success in school, higher graduation rates, increased participation in sports and extracurricular activities, and higher self-confidence. Frank has been involved in Scouts for decades as a Scout himself, a troop leader, a board member, and his organization, NAI Summit, has been a continuous sponsor year after year.
