Allentown, PA – On Tuesday, January 16th, 2025, the East Penn Chamber of Commerce invites the community to a flavorful Dine & Donate event from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse. This special event will benefit the East Penn Chamber Scholarship Fund, offering an evening of delicious food, great company, and a chance to support local students. A special thank you to American Family Care Urgent Care for their generous community support as the presenting sponsor of this event and making this charitable event take place.
“AFC Urgent Care of Lower Macungie is proud to support the growth and success of our local community’s young people,” says Don Catrambone, Director of Strategic Partnerships. “The East Penn School District and Emmaus High School Scholarship Fund offer a remarkable opportunity to help hardworking students achieve their highest aspirations. We truly value our partnership with the Chamber, and through our involvement in the Dine and Donate event, we’re excited to contribute to the advancement of Emmaus High School students.”
Whether enjoying a meal with friends, grabbing takeout for the family, or picking up curbside, 20% of all eligible purchases will directly support the scholarship fund, helping graduating seniors from Emmaus High School with their continued education. To participate, customers can present the flyer when dining in, use the 6 digit fundraiser code at checkout for online orders, or show the flyer when picking up takeout. Additionally, the event will feature a Networking Hour from 5:00PM to 7:00PM, providing a chance for professionals to connect while contributing to the cause.
The East Penn Chamber Scholarship Fund was established in 2018 in memory of former board member and community champion Francee Fuller. Over the last 6 years, this fund has provided over $20,000 since 2018 to support the future leaders from the East Penn School District, all from the participation of the community and Chamber members in events such as this one.
“On behalf of the entire East Penn Board of Directors. We invite you to join us this Thursday at BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse! Come out and enjoy an evening of great networking, delicious food, and a fantastic cause!” said Chad Balliet, Chair of the East Penn Board of Directors. “If you haven’t tried BJ’s famous wings yet, you’re in for a treat. Best of all, a portion of the proceeds from the evening will benefit the East Penn Chamber Scholarship, awarded to a few deserving students from the East Penn School District. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with the community and support a great cause. The East Penn Chamber of Commerce looks forward to seeing you there!”
This event provides a unique opportunity to enjoy a great meal while making a meaningful impact on the education of local students. Every meal and every dollar spent contributes to a brighter future for those seeking higher education.
