At the beginning of each school year, three outstanding teachers are recognized and receive the BEST Award at Convocation. The BASD marked history this school year as we started a new tradition to highlight a support staff member and present them with the title of BASD Employee of the Month.
Dr. Joseph Roy, Superintendent of Schools, surprised Pierre Morgan with the honor of being named the Bethlehem Area School District Employee of the Month for October 2019.
Pierre is a Hall Monitor for the Bethlehem Area School District and works at Freedom High School. He has been employed with the district for over 18 years.
Dr. Roy stated; “Pierre is perhaps the most genuine person working in our schools. His caring and compassion have led countless students and adults to trust him, respect him and listen to his sage advice. Pierre, in many ways, is the heart of the Freedom Family.”
We extend many thanks to Pierre for his continued service to the district. Congratulations Pierre.
