(September 8, 2026) — Today, Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania (GSEP) unveiled two first-of-their-kind additions to the 2027 Girl Scout Cookie® lineup. Patch Pals™, developed with BARK, and Girl Scout Sparkables™, developed with Partake®, will debut together as the first cookie created just for dogs and the first allergy-friendly cookie. The online exclusive offerings will join beloved classics like Thin Mints®, Caramel deLites®, Peanut Butter Patties®, and more.
Inspired by Girl Scouts around the country who have advocated for expanding the cookie lineup to meet the diverse needs of their communities, Patch Pals and Girl Scout Sparkables offer new ways for more girls, families and beloved pets to participate in the Girl Scout Cookie Program® — while staying true to what makes the tradition special.
For four-legged family members, Patch Pals offer a playful new way to take part in the fun. Developed with BARK (NYSE: BARK), the dog-obsessed company on a mission to make all dogs happy, and inspired by Girl Scouts’ deep love for their dogs, the soft-baked, blueberry muffin-flavored dog cookies celebrate the bond between people and their pups. Each dog cookie has been baked to feature one of four “patch” designs, representing iconic Girl Scout experiences.
Girl Scout Sparkables bring a new level of inclusivity to the Girl Scout Cookie portfolio as its first-ever cookie developed for families navigating certain food allergies. Developed with Partake in a facility designed to avoid the nine major food allergens, the crunchy oatmeal cookie features chocolate chips and is dotted with colorful sprinkles, giving families navigating the most common food allergies a way to feel more included during Girl Scout Cookie season.
Each year, girls discover their power as they utilize their innate sense of curiosity to unlock wonderful adventures and experiences through the Girl Scout Cookie Program. Along the way, they develop essential life skills, including goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics, while gaining a deeper understanding of themselves and what they care about. Every cookie box purchase helps fuel life-changing experiences for Girl Scouts throughout the year, from outdoor adventures and travel opportunities to community service projects, STEM explorationand leadership development. Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania’s 2027 Cookie season will officially kick off on January 21 and run through late March. All proceeds from cookie sales stay within GSEP’s troops to power local Girl Scouts’ amazing experiences year-round.
Patch Pals and Girl Scout Sparkables will be available exclusively online for direct shipping beginning January 21, 2027, in the Eastern Pennsylvania region. The new Girl Scout Sparkables cookies will be sold for $7 each, with the Patch Pals retailing for $9 per package. Fan favorite flavors like Thin Mints® and Caramel deLites® are sold for $6 each, and the Caramel Chocolate Chip Gluten Free cookie is $7 per package.
