The City of Allentown Department of Parks and Recreation’s Movies in the Park series continues Saturday, June 22 at West Park with a Dinner & a Movie screening of “A Star is Born.”
This R- rated movie starting Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga centers on Jackson Maine (Bradley Cooper), a musician who helps a young singer (Lady Gaga) find fame as age and alcoholism send his own career into a downward spiral.
The approximately 136-minute show will begin at dusk (approximately 8:30pm).
The movie will be preceded by a musical performance by alternative rock pop band, Smooth Retsina Glow (S.R.G.) one of the most exciting original bands to emerge from the Pennsylvania music scene. Most recently nominated for 2018 Best Original Album at the Lehigh Valley Music Awards, S.R.G. will be playing from 6:00pm-8:00pm.

The Udder Bar Ice Cream Shop will be on hand providing ice cream for purchase during the event.
