About Setter Ridge Vineyards
Setter Ridge Vineyards (previously Blair Vineyards) moved their tasting room and operations in June 2010 to a new state of the art building conveniently located miles off exit 40 on I-78 west of Allentown. A gravity flow winery was built to take advantage of the south facing slopes on their 35 acre property. With the tank and barrel rooms located 18 feet in the ground, the building maintains an average temperature of 50 degrees throughout the year without the use of energy. Currently 20 acres are planted with a variety of grapes, from Riesling & Chardonnay to Pinot Noir & Syrah, as well as several other varieties. The goal is to become strictly an Estate Grown Vineyard & Winery within the next few years with the addition of several acres of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon. An outdoor tasting pavilion lets visitors enjoy a glass of wine outside surrounded by the vines with gorgeous views of the Blue Mountains and Berks County countryside.
Setter Ridge Vineyards is a family owned & operated winery located in the Lehigh Valley AVA. They have been operating as a commercial winery under Blair Vineyards LLC since 2003 and their primary focus is producing dry European styled wines, specializing in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
