BETHLEHEM, PA –It’s a celebration of honor and valor as Vet Fest returns to SteelStacks July 7-8. Presented by the Lehigh Valley Chapter of The Nam Knights Motorcycle Club, Vet Fest is held in recognition of the men and women who have served our country and community.
Highlights of the festival, which is free to attend, include a motorcycle Bike Run July 7, 11:30 a.m., benefiting the Officer David M. Petzold Memorial Foundation and a 5k July 8, 8 a.m., benefiting The Bethlehem Police Department K-9 Unit and Motorcycle Patrol. Bike Run registration is onsite only and $20 for riders and $10 for passengers. Race participants can register in advance at www.namknights-lvpa.org or day of for $25.
Vet Fest also includes two days of live music by local favorites like Schubert and Binder, Bryant Brothers Band and Kings of Sunday, and features presentations and activities by more than 30 vendors and participants including Dog Tags Lehigh Valley, Hannum’s Harley-Davidson, Tails of Valor, Wreaths Across America, Home Depot, Victory House, Lehigh Valley Health Network and Heroes First Home Loans.
Other Vet Fest highlights include:
-Tattoos for donation by Steel City Tattoo (benefiting the Nam Knights’ charitable organizations)
– Face painting and activities for children
-Free haircuts for veterans by Hair Cuttery (great photo opportunity)
