Special events, promotions and fireworks over Memorial Day Weekend
DORNEY PARK, Allentown, PA (May 23, 2017) – To celebrate the start of the summer, Dorney Park will be offering special promotions and events during Memorial Day Weekend. From May 27th – 29th, guests can chow down at the Memorial Day Cookout, take advantage of special ticket offers such as Military Days and Season Pass Bring-A-Friend, and enjoy a spectacular fireworks display!
Celebrate summer with a Memorial Day Cookout including all the traditional fixings! Served in the brand new Parkside Pavilion, this All-You-Can-Eat meal includes hamburgers, hot dogs, fried chicken, pasta salad, garden salad, cole slaw, potato chips, watermelon and Coca-Cola beverages! The Memorial Day Cookout will be held on Saturday, May 27th; Sunday, May 28th and Monday, May 29th from 4:30 – 7:00 PM. Admission and meal packages are available, or you can just purchase tickets for the meal only. Tickets are available online in advance or at the front gate. All Season Passholders will receive a discount on the event ticket and Passholders who participate in Dorney’s All Season Dining program can redeem a meal for the Memorial Day Cookout for just $5*.
Dorney Park’s Military Days pays tribute to the brave men and women of the armed forces and will offer a free regular admission ticket to any active or retired military personnel during the Memorial Day (May 27th – 29th) weekend. Along with free admission, active and retired military will be able to purchase discount admission tickets for members of their immediate family (maximum of six). To take advantage of this special appreciation offer, guests can purchase tickets online at www.dorneypark.com or at the Park’s ticket window. A valid military ID should be presented at the turnstile for entry into the park.
In addition to the Memorial Day Cookout and Military Days, Season Passholders can also take advantage of our Bring-A-Friend special by purchasing tickets for up to four friends per pass for only $19* per ticket….a $39 savings off regular general admission price! Bring-A-Friend tickets are available online through the Season Pass Portal or at the park on the day of the event.
Dorney Park’s spectacular Memorial Day Fireworks display will be presented on Saturday, May 27th at 9:00 PM.
Wildwater Kingdom officially opens for the 2017 season on Saturday, May 27th. Wildwater Kingdom is home to a collection of over three dozen slides, pools, rivers and water play areas such as the Python Plummet, Constrictor, Boa Blasters and more! This year, seventeen new Cabanas are available for guests who want to add privacy and luxury to their day. Conveniently located by Wildwater Cove, Wildwater Kingdom’s 29 cabanas provide a semi-private covered area with chaise lounges, pool side service and early entry into the water park. Additional amenities include fresh fruit, bottled water, a personal sized refrigerator, small safe for your belongings, cable TV and in-park coupons. While in Wildwater Kingdom, guests can enjoy fresh-dough pizza made with fresh toppings and Philly Cheesesteaks at the new Papa Luigi’s.

It’s not too late to fill up on fun! Guests can purchase or renew a 2017 Season Passes online or at the park for as low as six easy payments of $20.50* – but hurry, this offer ends May 29th! In addition to enjoying unlimited visits to Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom, free season-long parking, exclusive passholder events, Bring-A-Friend-Days, in-park discounts on food and merchandise, passholders can experience numerous other benefits. Regular one-day admission tickets can be purchased for $58.00* for adults and $42.00* for seniors and children. Platinum season passes, which provide you entrance to all Cedar Fair Parks, are also available for six easy payments of $35.00*.
