Allentown School District In Your Schools:  March 6 – 17



 

Allentown School District announces the following events and activities throughout our District. Highlights include:

March 10 – ASD Schools closed for Professional Development Day.

 

  • Francis D. Raub Middle School – March 9; 2:45 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.: William Allen and Raub Health Careers Club – My Blood, Your Blood presented by Miller Keystone Blood Center at Raub, Room 109.

 

  • Jefferson Elementary School – March 9; 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.: Chuckie Cheese Night Fundraiser.

 

  • Roosevelt Elementary School – March 9; 6:00 p.m.: El Sistema Concert, FREE and open to the public.

 

  • Dieruff High School – March 12; 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.: Dieruff Art Exhibit and Reception at Allentown Art Museum. Art Exhibit runs March 8 through March 30.

 

  • ASD Elementary Schools – March 14; 7:00 p.m.: Elementary All City Band & Orchestra Concert at Mosser Elementary School, 129 S. Dauphin Street, Allentown. This is a FREE event, open to the public. Elementary music students in grades 3, 4 and 5 from each elementary will be participating.

 

  • Raub Middle School – March 16; 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.: Family Fun Night is an event of activities and entertainment for Raub families.

 

  • Trexler Middle School – March 16; 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.: Multicultural Celebration Night. Students and their families will celebrate and share their heritage.

 

  • Allentown School District – March 17; 11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.: News Conference: Van Donation. ASD and Horace Mann Co. host a news conference to “officially” accept the keys and title to the van donated to the District by the company. Conference will take place at the ASD Administration Building (weather permitting it will be outside; if not it will be in Lobby).
