Allentown School District announces the following events and activities throughout our District. Highlights include:
- Ritter Elementary School – January 9; 9:30 a.m.: K9 Demonstration for Grade 3 in the Gym. Members of the APD K9 unit – officers and dog – offer demonstration of the K9 skills and discipline.
- Lehigh Parkway Elementary School – January 11; 5:30 p.m.: Meet the Player Night in the Gym. Lehigh Parkway students and their families have the opportunity to meet the athletic stars of the William Allen Basketball team.
- McKinley Elementary School – January 19: 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.: Family Science Night for Jefferson families to spend time together learning and participating in hands-on science fun.
- ASD Parents, Guardians, Families and Community – January 21; 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Parent University and Title I Parent Advisory Council Workshops. These FREE workshops are to educate and inform parents on several topics that will support them throughout their child’s academic year. The Annual Title 1 Parent Advisory Council will meet during this event as well. Tours will be offered of the Dental Van from Lehigh Valley Hospital. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Free child care is provided for children age 3 to 10. Building 21 is located at: 265 Lehigh Street.
