Medical Center and Steak ‘n Shake Restaurant Coming Soon to New Retail Space
BETHLEHEM TOWNSHIP, PA, – A new Fine Wine & Good Spirits store is now open at Madison Farms in a recently completed retail center that will also soon feature a medical center and casual restaurant.
The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board officially opened a 7,468 square-foot wine and spirits shop on November 9th. The shop is located in a 10,000 square foot building on the western portion of the Madison Farms property that was just recently completed. The balance of the space has been leased to Steak ‘n Shake, a classic American brand famous for the original Steakburger™ and hand-dipped milkshakes. A 26,000 square foot medical center is also rising on the property, which Lehigh Valley Health Network has signed a long-term lease for.
A separate, 3,500 square-foot restaurant with outdoor dining capability overlooking a fountain is also planned for the western portion of Madison Farms. Construction of that building will begin once a tenant is in place.
The new retail space at Madison Farms complements the existing retail village, where more than a dozen businesses such as Starbucks, ShopRite and Pet Valu have opened. It is a one- or two-minute walk from the rental residences at Madison Farms, which are situated on the eastern half of the 100-acre mixed-use community.
“We are proud to welcome the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, Lehigh Valley Health Network, and Steak ‘n Shake to Madison Farms,” said Jeremy Kaplan, Chief Operating Officer of The KRE Group, which developed the property in partnership with The Silverman Group. “These are in-demand businesses that will serve the Lehigh Valley community and also serve as convenient, walking-distance destinations for our Madison Farms residents.”
Located at 4883 Riley Road in Bethlehem Township, just off of Freemansburg Avenue and Route 33, Madison Farms is a 24/7 live, work, play environment with luxury rental residences, upscale amenities and 153,000 square feet of retail space. A variety of one- and two-bedroom floorplans are available at monthly rents starting from $1,320. Limited retail space is also available for lease.
