BETHLEHEM, PA – Lisa Walkiewicz, President and CEO of Via of the Lehigh Valley, has been named to Lehigh Valley Business’s 2025 Power 100 List. The list recognizes business leaders who have made significant contributions to the quality of life in the Lehigh Valley.

Walkiewicz joined Via in 2007 and, after 13 years of progressively responsible roles, was appointed President in 2019. In her 18 years with Via, she has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication. Walkiewicz has more than 26 years of experience in Marketing and Communications, Media Relations, Program Delivery, and Fiscal Management. As President and CEO, her focus has been on broadening employee development and educational opportunities, increasing the number of services offered to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), and ensuring Via’s fiscal stability.

As a result of her efforts and those of Via’s staff, the non-profit recently was named a Morning Call Top Workplace for the third consecutive year, based on the results of employee surveys conducted by Energage. The surveys ranked the company highly for its positive work environment, effective communication, and executive leadership. Via also was recognized for “going in the right direction” in 2024 and as a top workplace for training this year.

In October 2024, Walkiewicz was appointed to the American Network of Community Options and

Resources (ANCOR)’s national board of representatives. This appointment will enable Walkiewicz to network with other local service providers, report to ANCOR on policy developments in Harrisburg, and strengthen the future of home- and community-based services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

“I am deeply honored to be named to Lehigh Valley Business Magazine’s Power 100 List for 2025,”

Walkiewicz said. “This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team at Via of the Lehigh Valley. I am equally committed to continuing our mission of providing essential services to the community. Our work in supporting individuals to achieve their full potential is vital, and we will persist in our efforts to enhance the quality of life for those we serve in the Lehigh Valley.”
