The Lehigh Valley-based production company welcomes a camera operator and editor, and magazine project manager.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. (March 20, 2025) – Emmy® award-winning production company ASR Media announced today the addition of Sean Nekich and Carly Ortiz to serve as camera and editor, and Fig Lehigh Valley project manager, respectively.

As a camera and editor at ASR Media, Nekich is responsible for capturing high-quality video footage and crafting compelling visual stories through precise editing. With a keen eye for detail and a creative approach to storytelling, this role helps deliver engaging content across various platforms that aligns with ASR Media’s commitment to excellence. He works closely with clients and the production team to film interviews, events, and branded content while ensuring seamless post-production. Nekich interned at ASR Media before joining the team full-time as camera and editor. He earned his bachelor’s degree in cinema, television and media production from Kutztown University.

As project manager of Fig Lehigh Valley, Ortiz plays a vital role in overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of the magazine’s production. This role ensures seamless communication across all parties involved in the production of the magazine while following a strict timeline to deliver high-quality content that supports the publication’s mission of celebrating local businesses and community. This role helps bring each issue of Fig Lehigh Valley to life through organization, creativity, and collaboration efforts. Ortiz started with ASR Media part-time in 2024. Before joining ASR Media, Ortiz worked as an on-camera assistant and commercial voiceover assistant at DDO Artist Agency, and KLO Events as an events assistant. She earned her bachelor’s degrees in film and screen studies and communication studies from Pace University.
In 2023, ASR Media acquired Fig Lehigh Valley, a quarterly print publication that celebrates small businesses and impactful nonprofits in Lehigh Valley, connecting readers to places, people, and experiences.
