ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Good Shepherd Rehabilitation recently welcomed Vivan Shah, MD, as a new outpatient physician to the network.
An outpatient physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) physician, Dr. Shah has a special interest in acute pain, musculoskeletal/sports medicine, diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound, and regenerative medicine.
in joining Good Shepherd Physician Group, Dr. Shah sees patients at Good Shepherd’s South Allentown Campus, 850 S. 5th St., Allentown.

I focus on treating acute pain and musculoskeletal conditions, as well as offering interventional spine care. I also enjoy treating arthritis and helping with knee, shoulder, hip problems, and foot/ankle problems, all of which allow me to make a meaningful impact on my patients’ quality of life.”
Dr. Shah joined Good Shepherd after serving as a locum attending physician at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital. Prior to that, he served as an attending physician at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind., where he provided acute inpatient medical management of neuromuscular disorders, musculoskeletal trauma, amputations, cardiac or pulmonary diseases, traumatic brain injuries and other debilitating conditions.
He earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada.
Dr. Shah completed his residency at Beaumont Health in Taylor, Mich., in 2022, and an Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine Fellowship at OSS Health in York, Pa.
