This coming month, Wildlands offers 6 exciting Community & Education Events, 5 of which are free to the public:
- A Covered Bridge Trail Hike and possible Bird Watching Trail hike at Trexler Nature Preserve;
- Our free Pre-K Pathfinder program, with “Luck of the Irish” fun, making little fairy nature villages.
- Our Owl Paint and Sip with Hot Cocoa Event – including instruction by an artist and input from an environmental educator!
- Three different Stream Team and Preserve Volunteers Training Sessions, getting ready for Spring!

Wildlands Conservancy – Owl Paint and Sip with Hot Cocoa – 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Dorothy Rider Pool Wildlife Sanctuary, 3701 Orchid Place, Emmaus, PA 18049. Led by a skilled art instructor, this session will guide participants (beginners and experienced) in creating individual masterpieces as we sip hot cocoa. Wildlands Conservancy – Covered Bridge Trail Hike at TNP – 10:00AM – 12:00PM at Trexler Nature Preserve – Packhouse Road Parking, 5375 Old Packhouse Rd., Schnecksville, PA 18078. Join us for a guided hike on the Covered Bridge Trail. This 1.2-mile loop trail is a paved, easy trail, with a slight elevation change.
