“The plight of the homeless is a national problem and frankly a national disgrace, but it is our job to take care of our own small part of the world. To that end, we are announcing in partnership with the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development our most recent Emergency Solution Grants for Northampton County,” said Northampton County Executive Lamont G. McClure today.
- Emergency Solution Grant (ESG) for $25,000 – Bethlehem Area Shelter to provide emergency shelter services.
- Emergency Solution Grant (ESG) for $27,114 – Third Street Alliance to provide emergency shelter services.
- Emergency Solution Grant (ESG) for $20,000 – Valley Health Partners Community Health Center through its Street Medicine Program to provide primary health care services to outreach programs and to shelters.
- Emergency Solution Grant (ESG) for $76,000 – Safe Harbor Easton to provide emergency shelter services.
- Emergency Solution Grant (ESG) for $9,652 – Safe Harbor Easton to assist Northampton County in the mandatory reporting requirement using the HMIS system.
- Emergency Solution Grant (ESG) for $30,000 – Greater Shiloh Church to provide emergency shelter services.
