Workshop is part of the District’s “Parent University”
Allentown, PA (March 31, 2016) As part of the Allentown School District’s “Parent University,” the District will be hosting its How to connect with ASD services/supports Workshop on Wednesday, April 6. The workshop is FREE and open to all ASD parents and guardians and will be held in the Trexler Middle School’s Library from 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Parents and guardians who attend the workshop will be provided with information and tools on how to navigate the services, supports, and resources that are provided within the Allentown School District and/or community.
ASD’s “Parent University” was created to offer parents and guardians the opportunity to attend workshops focused on insightful information on a variety of educational and healthy topics that would be of benefit to their students and families.
The remaining workshops are scheduled as follows:
- April 27; 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Harrison Morton Middle School Auditorium: Healthy Minds/ Healthy Bodies
- May 11; 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at South Mountain Middle School Cafeteria: Social Emotional Learning/Restorative Practices
Trexler Middle School is located at 851 North 15th Street, Allentown.
