The latest edition of the Conversations with KidsPeace podcast notes the one-year anniversary of the opening of the Hope Center for Youth & Family Crisis in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. The joint venture between KidsPeace and Alliance Health launched its “behavioral health urgent care (BHUC)” program last June, and on the podcast Executive Director Tammy Margeson and Customer Relations Liaison Michele Chassner discuss the growth of the service and its acceptance in the community it serves – as well as the possibility that the BHUC model could be duplicated in other communities.
Conversations with KidsPeace is an award-winning podcast that looks at issues and advancements in mental and behavioral health care through the expertise and vision of the organization’s associates and other special guests. Visit Hope Center one year anniversary of BHUC | Episode #61 – KidsPeace to hear the discussion, and subscribe to Conversations wherever you get your podcasts.
