Bethlehem, PA (1/4/2024) – Valley Youth House today announced it has been awarded a Major Grant in the amount of $20,000 over two years from The Provident Bank Foundation to support their Lehigh Valley Rapid Rehousing for Families program.

The Rapid Rehousing for Families Program serves families with children who are experiencing homelessness. The program provides rental assistance and case management services ensuring that the adults develop the skills and resources to achieve independence, the children are able to thrive, and the family is able to escape the cycle of poverty. In the last year, Valley Youth House has provided housing support for 115 Lehigh Valley households with a total of 268 individuals.

“Provident Bank Foundation has been supporting Valley Youth House in addressing the needs of individuals and families experiencing homelessness in the Lehigh Valley Valley since the Foundation’s founding 10 years ago,” says Kathi Krablin, Director of Grants and Foundations. “They are a true partner, and we are immensely grateful for their continued support,” she added.

“We are pleased to help further valuable initiatives put forth by local organizations who are working every day to strengthen the lives of residents in our communities,” said Samantha Plotino, Executive Director, The Provident Bank Foundation. “We will continue to provide support to these important organizations that have identified an immediate need in the community and for the individuals they serve.”
