Join the Borough of Sellersville and the Pennridge Gallery of Arts Committee for the 55th Annual Pennridge Gallery of the Arts on September 17, 2023 from 12-5 PM.! Main Street, Sellersville, will be filled with booths featuring unique arts and crafts, food trucks, refreshments, family activities, and more! There will also be live music by various artists to entertain visitors throughout the afternoon.

“The Pennridge Gallery of the Arts has been a time-honored tradition in Sellersville,” said Kylie Adams-Weiss, Chairperson to the Pennridge Gallery of the Arts. “Each year has continued to grow and adapt with new vendors and musicians, and each year, our committee continues to be impressed by the caliber of artistry we see from our artists and crafters. We look forward to continuing the celebration of the arts in our community at this year’s festival.”

This year’s festival will feature 53 crafters, 29 artists, 3 student artists, several food trucks and adult beverage stations, and two children’s areas with kid-friendly crafts, demos and performances, story time and more. Awards will be given to artists participating in the categories of Photography, Painting, Non-Painting 2D, and 3D works, as well as our “Best of Show Award,” in honor of John Moyer of Moyer Indoor Outdoor.

Main Street, Sellersville, will be closed for the festival from Green Street to Elm Street, and access to local businesses will be encouraged. The Picker’s Junction, Next Chapter Bookstore, Johnny Roc’s Pizza, the Washington House and Koolick’s, among others, will be open to the public for those who wish to get out of the sun and support local. BuxMont Awards will be opening their door to house the 2023 Featured Artist, B.A. Stoll.

B.A. Stoll is an award winning abstract painter who lives and works in Perkasie, PA. Her colorful paintings pay homage to her upbringing in New York City in the 1960s when her mother was an art editor at LIFE magazine. Having been surrounded by artists during the rise of Pop Art, Op Art, Minimalism, Conceptual Art, Performance and Feminist Art, her personal style radiates happiness and humor. As Stoll explains, “I am painting stories and have decided to greet the viewer with joy.” Stoll has a B.A. in Visual arts from SUNY College at Old Westbury, NY; and has studied at the Art League of Long Island and Hofstra University. She has taught art classes locally, is an author and illustrator, and is Co-Owner of Chimayo Gallery & Gift Shop in Perkasie, PA. You can check out her work at: https://www.galleryofthearts.org/featured-artist

Her work will be on display at Bux-Mont Awards and Engraving from noon until 5 PM. “Be sure to stop by and take a look in person,” said Lisa Duffner of the Gallery of the Arts Committee. “You are sure to enjoy her vivid scenes, sometimes playful, at times contemplative, brought to life in bright colors and adventurous compositions.”

Live music will feature local musicians, and performances from local groups and businesses will offer family-friendly entertainment. On four stages throughout the festival, performances will include Andrew Lobby (12-2:30 PM), JWC Music Studio (12-1 PM), River full of Froot (2:30-5 PM), Elle Gyandoh (12-2:30 PM) and the Eric McGarry Quartet (2:30-5 PM).
