Community invited to tour BayMark-managed AppleGate Recovery clinic in Blakeslee
BLAKESLEE, PA – AppleGate Recovery, the regional leader specializing in Office-Based Opioid Treatment (OBOT) for adults, will host an open house and ribbon cutting for the community and referral partners to our new clinic located at 393 PA-940 in Blakeslee to tour the facility and learn about the programs offered. The event will take place on Thursday, July 21 from 5-7 p.m.
AppleGate Recovery in Blakeslee opened earlier this year in April, offering opioid addiction treatment services for individuals in Eastern Pennsylvania. The clinic offers evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with buprenorphine or Suboxone, and provider-based counseling and referrals to outside counseling services.
“The open house will be a terrific opportunity for us to invite the community into our center to learn more about how we treat opioid addiction and to meet the treatment team,” said Laura Patterson, Regional Director, Operations. “Our priority is to partner with the community to be part of the solution to the opioid epidemic and continue our mission to improve access to effective and affordable treatment for individuals battling opioid use disorder.”
AppleGate Recovery Blakeslee medical providers utilize buprenorphine and buprenorphine compounds, also known by the brand names Suboxone, Zubsolv, Bunavail, Sublocade to help patients control withdrawal symptoms and cravings for opioids. The Blakeslee clinic accepts Geisinger health plans including Geisinger Family, Geisinger Gold Medicare Advantage, Geisinger commercial plans and reasonable self-pay options are also available.
