READING, PA (July 12, 2022) – Registration and sponsorships are still available for the 2022 “Jingle in July” 5K Run/One Mile Walk fundraising event benefiting KidsPeace Foster Care in Reading, PA.
The 11th annual Christmas-in-July themed race is scheduled for Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Gring’s Mill recreation area in Wyomissing, PA, with the 5K event starting at 8:30 a.m. and the One Mile Walk following immediately.
The event is the Reading/Pottsville office’s primary fundraiser, with all donations going towards celebrations, activities and recognition in support of the foster parents served by the office and the kids in their care.
Early registration for the Jingle in July events is open at www.kidspeace5k.org. The entrance fee is $20 through July 23, and early registrants are guaranteed an event T-shirt. The fee goes up to $25 for registrations after 7/23, with T-shirts available only while supplies last. (On-site registration on 7/30 opens at 7 a.m.)
In addition to the 5K/One Mile Walk, the event features raffles and a toy drive. Donations can be dropped off at Diamond Federal Credit Union branches through the month of July, or at the race event on 7/30.
