The requirement goes into effect on Tuesday, February 1.

ALLENTOWN, PA – As Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center continues to prioritize the health and safety of everyone in the community, the center will require all visitors to be fully vaccinated, starting Tuesday, February 1.

All staff members have been fully vaccinated since the center reopened its doors to the community in September 2021, following a vaccine requirement for all staff in May 2021.

This new requirement for visitors, in addition to our ongoing mask requirement, provides an extra layer of protection for our employees and community members.

All visitors will need to show proof of being fully vaccinated, either in physical or digital form, upon entering the center. Being fully vaccinated, as defined by the CDC, means two weeks after a second dose of a two-dose vaccine or one dose of a single-dose vaccine.

Please note that if a visitor is eligible to receive a third COVID-19 vaccine dose and/or a COVID-19 vaccine booster, then proof of additional doses will also be required for entry.

As a new supportive service this year, Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center is now offering free, easy, LGBTQ-affirming asymptomatic COVID-19 testing every first and third Tuesday of the month between 4 and 6 p.m. Testing is done with a mouth swab.

For comprehensive resources on COVID-19 testing and vaccination, community members are encouraged to visit bradburysullivancenter.org/coronavirus.
