Tune in on Dec. 16 to see Grothouse featured on This Old House episode “Planting for the Future.” Kevin O’Connor, star of This Old House, traveled to Grothouse headquarters in Germansville, Pennsylvania. While there, O’Connor learned about the process of making the wood products for featured home: The Concord Country Cape House. Grothouse was invited to construct five unique products: Shiplap Wall Paneling, a Solid Wood Hood, Floating Shelves with Integrated LED lighting, Pantry Countertops, and a Floating Wood Countertop integrated with a stone countertop. All these wood products are custom matched to bring designer Karen Swanson’s of New England Design Works vision to fruition. This episode will feature Kevin exploring the details of the lumber selection process and the many machining processes with the Grothouse team.
We are honored to partner with the iconic show that focuses on quality craftsmanship, the cornerstone of the Grothouse brand. Continue to follow along this season to see Grothouse again when they travel up to Concord, MA for the installation and completion of the project.
