Tickets for Breakfast with St. Nicholas and the popular holiday market’s December dates will go on sale beginning Mon., Nov. 29
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Tickets for Christkindlmarkt Bethlehem, presented by Univest Financial®, December dates and the annual Breakfast with St. Nicholas, presented by NJM Insurance, will go on sale beginning Mon., Nov. 29, 2021. Starting Dec. 4, Saturdays will be everyone’s chance to dine alongside Jolly Old St. Nick. General admission passes for the traditional holiday market’s three remaining weekends in December, Thurs. through Sun., Dec. 19., will also be available for purchase. On Saturday mornings in December, the annual Breakfast with St. Nick event will open at 8 a.m. with a hot breakfast of eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, pastries, fresh fruit, juice and coffee to be served from 8:15 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. Families are invited to celebrate this special occasion by having their photo taken with St. Nick before participating in arts and crafts, led by a professional Banana Factory Arts Center teaching artist. Each ticket purchased for Breakfast with St. Nicholas includes one 5×7 photo with St. Nick and free admission to Christkindlmarkt for the day. Tickets range from $14.95 to $19.95 depending on age (fees not included).
Christkindlmarkt, named one of the top holiday markets in the world by Travel + Leisure and one of the top holiday markets in North America by USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice competition, is known for its unique holiday shopping experience featuring dozens of artisans offering thousands of unique, handmade gifts and holiday items, including the premier German ornament manufacturer Käthe Wohlfahrt.
Retailers this year include Bethlehem’s own Donegal Square and an additional 25 newly added crafters. Shoppers can sip on their favorite seasonal offerings from Franklin Hill Vineyards, Eight Oaks Farm Distillery, Social Still and Vynecrest. Visitors can continue to enjoy this year’s Season’s Eatings by visiting the market’s eight vendors for strudel, spätzle, German bratwurst and German roasted almonds. Stop by the Crayola Creativity Station to make beautiful holiday-themed crafts with the whole family and enjoy the sounds of the season with live entertainment from more than 66 regional and Lehigh Valley performers.
Save time and money by purchasing tickets in advance on ChristmasCity.org. The market will continue to run Thurs. – Sun. Dec. 2-5, 9-12 and 16-19. Hours of operation will be 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Thurs. and Sun. and 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Fri. and Sat. Thanks to the generosity of ArtsQuest’s partner T-Mobile, all fees will be waived, and entry will be complimentary from 6 – 8 p.m. on Fridays.
