The Downtown Allentown Business Alliance, the City of Allentown, and City Center Allentown present the Allentown Tree Lighting Celebration on Saturday, December 4th at the Allentown Arts Park (20 N. Fifth Street, Allentown PA 18101) from 4:00 p.m – 7:00 p.m.

The Christmas season in Allentown begins at the annual Tree Lighting Celebration! This year, the event has more offerings than ever before. Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be passing out presents to children and taking holiday photos. MeLVin and characters from the Nutcracker performance at Miller Symphony Hall will also be present.

Attendees will also be able to enjoy a horse and carriage rides, hot chocolate, and treats. Entertainment will be provided by Kendall Conrad as well as the Deiruff High School Choir. Families will be able to participate in various activities which include ornament making, reindeer headband making, and additional arts and crafts hosted by the Baum School of Art and the Allentown Art Museum.

This event is free and open to the public.
