Neighborhood Health Centers of the Lehigh Valley will hold a Grand Opening and Open House community event for its newest location in Northside Bethlehem. The event falls during National Health Center Week (August 8-14) on Patient Appreciation Day.

This free event is open to the public. City residents are encouraged to tour the facility and learn about the primary health care services that are offered. The event also includes free food and beverages, information tables from health care and insurance organizations, raffles with prizes, and a DJ. NHCLV staff members are bilingual in Spanish and will be on-hand to answer questions. The open house is sponsored by United Healthcare. National Health Center Week is sponsored by Aetna BetterHealth and Aetna Medicare.

WHEN:          Wednesday, August 11 from 4 – 7 pm; ribbon cutting ceremony at 5 pm with local elected officials and/or their representatives 

WHERE:       NHCLV Northside Bethlehem – 635 E. Broad Street in the Broad and Wood Business Center. Parking is available on the street.

Neighborhood Health Centers of the Lehigh Valley, the region’s first Federally Qualified Health Center, an independent 501c3 nonprofit organization. NHCLV was officially incorporated as a nonprofit organization in 2004 with a goal of meeting the needs for a coordinated system of primary care for the uninsured and underinsured residents of the Lehigh Valley. All of their health centers are open to the general public and accept patients with or without health insurance. Other health center locations include: downtown Allentown, Southside Bethlehem at Donegan Elementary School, and West Ward Easton at Two Rivers Health & Wellness.
