Cedar Beach Pool in the city Allentown is closed today and will be closed for at least 10 days to drain the pool, clean-up glass and re-fill the pool. 

Glass was discovered in the pool on Sunday.  The pool was kept closed for two hours for clean-up.  More glass was discovered in the pool today.  

The Allentown Dept of Parks and Recreation regrets the inconvenience however, every effort will be made to re-open the pool as soon as possible. 

The city’s Mack Pool remains open.
