The Lehigh Valley IT company purchased the former Hackman’s Building in 2020.

June 22, 2021 – Whitehall, PA – EZ Micro Solutions, a Lehigh Valley IT management and consulting company, is pleased to announce the grand opening of their new office at 1341 Mickley Road in Whitehall, Pennsylvania.

The grand opening is Friday, July 9th from 4 PM until 8 PM. The celebration will include food trucks, Lehigh Valley Zoo animals, games, prizes, contests and tours of the building.

As many in the Lehigh Valley know, the building was the former home to Hackman’s Bible Bookstore for over 30 years before closing its doors in 2018. To be able to call it home has very special meaning to owner and President of EZ Micro Solutions, David Dooley. “I spent many hours over the years at Hackman’s. It was an inspiring place to read and reflect.”

Missing his first chance to purchase the building in 2019, David jumped at the chance when the building was again available for sale in 2020. EZ Micro had continued to grow and needed a larger space – the timing was perfect and seemed meant to be.

Purchased just prior to the pandemic shutdown in March 2020, the building has undergone extensive renovations including the addition of Hackman’s Community Room which EZ Micro hopes will continue the Hackman’s legacy of giving back to the community. This room will provide local non-profits a space to meet for trainings, staff meetings, board meetings, events and more at no cost to the organizations.

EZ Micro is honored to welcome special guests, Joe and Marcy Hackman, to the unveiling of the building and the Hackman’s Community Room on July 9th.
