At the beginning of each school year, three outstanding teachers are recognized and receive the BEST Award at Convocation. Last school year the BASD started a new tradition to highlight a support staff member and present them with the title of BASD Employee of the Month.
Dr. Joseph Roy, Superintendent of Schools, surprised Kelly Gaspar with the honor of being named the Bethlehem Area School District Employee of the Month for March 2021.
Kelly is a secretary in the Bethlehem Area School District. She presently works at Fountain Hill Elementary School. She also worked at Liberty High School. She has been employed with the district for over 17 years.
Dr. Roy stated; “Kelly is like the quarterback in the main office at Fountain Hill making sure everyone knows what play to run! Beyond her work ethic and organizational skills, Kelly’s caring for staff, students and parents makes her a very deserving recipient of the BASD Employee of the Month Award — congratulations!”
We extend many thanks to Kelly for her continued service to the district. Congratulations Kelly.
