The Allentown Health Bureau has established a COVID-19 vaccine scheduling call center system solely for city and Lehigh County senior citizens age 65 and older who are without internet access or are not internet use savvy.
The system operates Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. It is receiving an overwhelming number of calls. Residents may continue to call back if they receive a busy signal. The phone lines are only able to accept and hold calls until 6 p.m. We understand the challenges this creates, and we thank you for your patience as we work to improve our service and manage the thousands of requests from our community.
Calls will reach a bilingual person who will assist in scheduling a COVID vaccination as supply of vaccine permits.
The city is unable to accommodate vaccine scheduling requests through other city offices and departments.
Please note that the vaccine scheduling call center will only assist with scheduling appointments. All health-related questions should be directed to your primary physician.
The call center can be reached at 610.890.7069 and is only available to assist Allentown and Lehigh County residents ages 65+ in registering for COVID-19 vaccinations. Others are urged to schedule with the Allentown Health Bureau online through information on the city website at www.allentownpa.gov, contact and register with the hospital or pharmacy network of your choice, or wait until more vaccine becomes available.
