LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – State Senator Pat Browne (R-16) will host a special COVID-19 Vaccine Information Telephone Town Hall on Thursday, February 4, at 3:00 p.m. The Telephone Town Hall is designed to provide listeners with vital information related to the COVID-19 crisis, including where to get the shot, its safety and efficacy, the state’s distribution plan, and much more.

 

The Telephone Town Hall is free and available to the public.

Senator Browne will be joined by a panel of experts, each providing information on the COVID-19 vaccine. Participants include Joan Bradberry, Executive Director of the Senate Health and Human Services Committee, and local public health experts from Lehigh Valley Health Network.

“My office has been inundated with constituents looking for accurate and reliable information on the COVID-19 vaccine,” Senator Browne said. “This panel of distinguished medical experts will leave participants with a better understanding of the vaccine itself, the state’s rollout plan and where they can get the shot locally. I hope that as many residents of the Lehigh Valley as possible are able to participate in this informational program.”

Constituents will have the opportunity to ask questions of the panel of experts during the one-hour call.

The Telephone Town Hall format allows the community to listen and participate in the discussion without the need to leave their homes. Participants may ask questions or simply remain on their phone line to listen to the conversation.

Constituents will receive a phone call invitation on their landline telephone on Thursday, February 4, at 3:00 p.m. asking if they would like to participate in the live call.
