Veteran Lenders, Stephen Patterson and Robert Lepley, Join Univest
January 28, 2020 – Univest Bank and Trust Co. recently announced it has expanded its commercial banking team in the Lehigh Valley by adding two commercial lenders with extensive experience serving commercial, industrial and commercial real estate clients. Industry veterans, Stephen Patterson and Robert Lepley, will partner with businesses in the Lehigh Valley to meet their financial needs.
Stephen Patterson joins as senior vice president and senior relationship manager. He brings 34 years of experience in the financial services industry to his role at Univest. Previously, Patterson served as senior vice president and business development officer at Fulton Bank. He received a bachelor’s degree from Shippensburg University. He is past chair of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce and currently serves on their Board of Governors and Executive Committee. Additionally, he serves as the Treasurer of the Lehigh Valley Workforce Board, as President of the Board for the Wilson Area Partners in Education Foundation, as a member of the Board of Associates for the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation and as the Treasurer for the Riegelsville Union Cemetery. Patterson resides in Williams Township, Pa.
Robert Lepley joins as a vice president and relationship manager. He brings more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry to his role at Univest. Most recently, Lepley served as vice president and relationship manager for ESSA Bank and Trust. Lepley received a bachelor’s degree from DeSales University. He is active in the local community serving as an ambassador for the Lehigh Valley Chamber, as a member of the Presidential Advisory Board for DeSales University, as a Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree Member, and as a member of the Borough of Hellertown Planning Commission. Lepley resides in the Lehigh Valley.
