Community Partners 4 Kids would like to invite you to partner with us in our mission to create a safer environment for children in the Lehigh Valley by expanding our prevention and recovery programs designed to protect children from predators.
What Is the Child Safety Program? Every year, almost 1,000,000 children are reported missing in the United States, including almost 300,000 taken by non-custodial family members and over 50,000 abducted by total strangers, placing those children is serious danger. With your help, our Child Safety Program can educate parents and children in the Lehigh Valley and help them avoid becoming part of these statistics, simply by making certain they recognize risks and life threatening circumstances and how to escape or avoid them.
- The Child Safety Handbook. We make available to area families, a free copy of the CP4Kids “Child Safety Handbook”, a textbook on keeping our children safe through an education process. Studies have shown that 86% of the children who successfully escape an abduction attempt, do so on their own because they have been educated on how to recognize a dangerous or high risk situation and how to remove themselves safely from danger.
- The B-SAFE Program – “Basic Safety Awareness for Everyone”. Community Partners 4 Kids offers several, age appropriate, instructional programs designed to educate and instruct children and youth, on how to remain safe in all environments: the playground, to and from school, hanging out with friends, and especially online, a growing tool used by predators to contact and lure unsuspecting children and youth into dangerous, life threatening situations. There is also a B-SAFE program for parents, teachers, coaches, and other adults, on things they must do to protect children.
- The Child ID Program. For over seven years, Community Partners 4 Kids has offered free electronic identification packages (on CD) to families with children. Parents receive an Amber Alert Certified CD with physical information, photos, voice print and video of their child, enabling emergency responders to react swiftly in launching recovery action for a missing child, vital for the safety of the child.
Your Support as a Child Safety Partner enables us to provide the Child ID service and the Child Safety Handbooks to families in the Lehigh Valley at no cost to them. Additionally, we can take our B-SAFE program to local schools, scout troops, community groups, youth sports teams and other similar venues where children and youth are served.

“Don’t turn your face away. Once you’ve seen, you can no longer act like you don’t know. Open your eyes to the truth. It’s all around you. Don’t deny what the eyes to your soul have revealed to you. Now that you know, you cannot feign ignorance. Now that you’re aware of the problem, you cannot pretend you don’t care. To be concerned is to be human. To act is to care.” by a caring human being
