March 24, Springhouse Middle School Game Night, 6-8 PM
Game Night is a fun night filled with a variety of games and tons of prizes for middle school students at Springhouse! Students can pre-purchase tickets for $5 all week during lunch. Student ID is required to attend. At Game Night, students will play:
- Board games in the Cafeteria
- Basketball, ping-pong & volleyball in the gyms
- Bingo, Limbo, and a variety of video games like Mario Kart and Just Dance
- Minute to Win It
- Name That Tune is a NEW addition this year!
March 30, Hazardous Materials Drill with Science of Firefighting Class, 1:30 – 2:45 PM, Parkland High School Auditorium Lobby.
30 Science of Firefighting students will identify a mock hazardous substance, cordon off the area, attend to victims, mitigate the hazard, perform all operations in a safe manner, and notify the appropriate school and local agencies. The activity will take place in the Auditorium Lobby and will involve members of surrounding fire departments who will assist.
Please be advised that this is only a drill and there will not be any real danger. If you see fire apparatus or emergency response crews in the building, please recognize that they are all part of the drill.

April 6, Community Advisory Council, Parkland High School Library Classroom, 6 PM. The public is cordially invited to attend the Community Advisory Council Meeting. The topic of the meeting will be “Drug & Alcohol Abuse” which will be presented by Director of Student Services Brenda DeRenzo and Student Assistance Program Advisor Lori Fitch.

Order a Senior Class Yard Sign
Class of 2017 is selling yard signs to congratulate seniors. Signs will be printed
on both sides and come with the yard posts (see photo above of the sign graphic). They will be available in May 2017. You will be emailed when signs are ready to be picked up at the HS. Each sign is $22. Signs are vinyl, 24” x 18”, and come with yard posts. Checks should be
made payable to PHS Class of 2017. Forms can be submitted online at the following
