TREXLERTOWN, Pa. – Early Friday morning the Valley Preferred Cycling Center opened vendor registration for the Spring 2017 VeloFest, one of its most anticipated events of the year. This spring’s event is scheduled for Saturday, May 6.
Vendors can now register for the event online here, via phone, or in person at the VPCC offices, during its business hours.
“We are extra excited for Spring VeloFest this year,” said Tyler Trumbauer, the public relations and communications assistant for the VPCC, who also runs VeloFest. “I received countless phone calls and e-mails already from potential vendors wanting to register and ask questions. I’m not sure why, it may be the warmer weather we’ve had, but there is definitely more of a buzz about Spring VeloFest this year.”
Both private and commercial vendors are invited to register for VeloFest. Vendors do not have to be cycling related either, as a variety of business, companies, organizations, and food trucks enjoy success at VeloFest every year.
Vendor registration prices begin as low as $45 with a variety of different size spots and locations available. Late registration pricing goes into effect on April 22.
VeloFest is a vendor market that has grown over its 40 years of existence and has blossomed from a swap meet amongst friends to the largest outdoor cycling vendor market on the east coast. Two VeloFests are held annually each year, one in spring and another in the fall. This year’s Fall VeloFest is slated for Saturday, Oct. 7.
VeloFest runs from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. and is a rain or shine event. Single tickets will go on sale online in the coming weeks with tickets also being sold at the box office on the day of the event. Tickets are $8 for fans while children 12 years old and younger are $2.
