Larry Sceurman, author of the new dyslexia-friendly children’s book Bookworm’s Magical Journey, will be presenting the story and talking about his experiences as someone with dyslexia at the Easton Area Public Library Palmer Branch Wednesday night, Dec. 11, at 6 p.m. The talk is free and people can register here: https://eastonpl.libcal.com/event/13520832.
Bookworm is Sceurman’s third book with Parisian Phoenix Publishing, a local micro-book publisher in Easton founded in 2021. All books are available via online retailers, at Book and Puppet Company in downtown Easton, at Blue Flame Events Retail Store in the Palmer Park Mall, and at Barnes & Noble at the Lehigh Valley Mall.

Her next workshop is Monday, Dec. 16 at 6 p.m. “Writers Mix Up Mash Up” will allow local writers to advance their projects with a variety of exercises, critique discussion and independent writing time. People can register here: https://eastonpl.libcal.com/event/13551615

They span all genres and have an ambitious schedule of 10+ books for 2025. Erotica author M.Christian will be releasing his short story collection, In Control, with Parisian Phoenix Dec. 17.
