Including a donation drive to benefit Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley
Allentown, Pa., October 14, 2024 – Cetronia Ambulance Corps is pleased to announce its 3rd Annual Health & Wellness Expo in partnership with Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley. The Expo will take place on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. It will be located at the Joint Operations Facility located at 4300 Broadway, Allentown, Pa. The Expo is free and open to the public, with plenty of free parking available. As part of the event, Cetronia will be hosting a donation drive in support of Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley’s Safe House Emergency Shelter. A list of needed items will be shared closer to the event date.
This family-friendly expo will feature a wide range of vendors for all ages. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn lifesaving skills such as hands-only CPR and stop-the-bleed techniques, receive blood pressure screenings, and gather information on car seat safety. The Allentown Health Bureau will be offering flu shots from 10 a.m. to noon, along with glucose readings from HNL Lab Medicine, hearing screenings from East Stroudsburg University, and tours from Lehigh County Coroner’s Office & Forensic Center. The Center For Humanistic Change will have a mock teen bedroom set-up to offer parents tips about addiction behaviors. Additional exhibitors include Lehigh Valley Health Network, Meals on Wheels of the Greater Lehigh Valley, Cancer Support Community of the Greater Lehigh Valley, Good Shepherd Rehabilitation, Steel Fitness Premier, NAMI Lehigh Valley, Bio-One of Allentown, Lehigh County Aging and Adult Services, and others.
