DAT Duty Officers are the lynchpin that holds a Red Cross disaster response together. DAT Duty Officers receive notification from clients and agencies requesting assistance during a fire, flood, or other disaster, and then deploy the most appropriate resources to support those efforts. A one-acre garden, called the Easton Urban Farm, supplies fresh produce, as well as flowers, each summer to underserved neighborhoods. Three times a week, we rely on volunteers to prepare rows, plant, weed, compost, water, pick and bundle and transport veggies to food pantries and senior centers in Easton. Wildlands Conservancy is looking for assistance in repainting and removing carpet from a cabin located at our Dorothy Rider Pool Sanctuary in Emmaus. Looking for a fun and engaging activity with friends? Why not become a Zoellner Arts Center volunteer usher! Volunteer on a show-to-show basis, mostly nights and weekends. Responsibilities include greeting patrons, scanning tickets, assisting patrons to their seats, and being trained on the center’s safety and evacuation protocols.
