The National Canal Museum (NCM) is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with our children’s program, Kids on the Canal! Our food pantry serves over 200 families per month and runs solely on the assistance of volunteers. Northeast Community Center in Bethlehem is seeking volunteers to assist with food distribution on the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. in our busy food pantry. A one-acre garden, called the Easton Urban Farm, supplies fresh produce, as well as flowers, each summer to underserved neighborhoods. Three times a week, we rely on volunteers to prepare rows, plant, weed, compost, water, pick and bundle and transport veggies to food pantries and senior centers in Easton.
