Kempton, PA. – Berks County artist Jon Bond will present “Mountain Magic” at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, Kempton, PA. The art exhibit will be ongoing May 27 through June 24, daily from 8am – 5 pm. “Mountain Magic” will feature 42 original works that capture the magic, mystique, and harsh beauty of Hawk Mountain and the rural landscape of Albany Township. Works include egg tempera, oil, watercolor, and silverpoint drawings.
“There’s always a sense of mystery in that area of Kempton because of the real history and folkloric tales so closely connected to the scenery and Hawk Mountain,” states Bond. Visitors will have the opportunity to access a free audio tour that describes the stories behind Bond’s art.
Hawk Mountain Sanctuary is located at 1700 Hawk Mountain Road, Kempton, PA 19529
