BETHLEHEM, PA\u2014Grab your family and friends and head to SteelStacks to partake in a regional favorite at PierogiFest presented by Clubhouse Grille Sept. 14. The event, which will take place from noon to-6 p.m., is free to attend. Visitors can purchase a passport, which is good for sampling six gourmet pierogis, for only $15 in advance, or $20 day of event. Passports go on sale starting today at steelstacks.org<\/a>\u00a0and 610-332-3378.<\/p>\n

At PierogiFest, visitors can look forward to trying a dozen varieties of delicious potato-stuffed pierogis piled high with an assortment of unique toppings including:<\/p>\n

Saut\u00e9ed Taco Pierogis <\/strong>loaded with melted Cheddar Jack cheese, shredded chicken, lettuce and pico de gallo and drizzled with taco sauce<\/p>\n

Brisket Pierogis <\/strong>saut\u00e9ed and smothered in tender beef brisket, gravy and cheddar cheese sauce<\/p>\n

Vegetarian Saut\u00e9ed Caprese Pierogi<\/strong> topped with fresh mozzarella, tomato and balsamic glaze and crowned with fresh basil.<\/p>\n

For those with a sweet tooth, a decadent fried Apple Pie Pierogi <\/strong>stuffed with warm apple filling, coated in cinnamon sugar and finished with whipped cream and caramel sauce will also be offered. Attendees can enjoy them solo or mix and match to share with family and friends.<\/p>\n

In addition to pierogis, the afternoon will feature live music, yard games and more. More than 1,500 people attended the first PierogiFest, held in 2017 at Clubhouse Grille.
