font-family: Calibri;\">For many fans two years may have seemed like eternity for the return of Joe Bonamassa at the<strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/statetheatre.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">State Theatre in Easton<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0 Tuesday night Bonamassa appeared leaner not only in physical stature, but also in band members compared to his acoustic show back in January of 2016. \u201cLast time looked so different, we all sat down\u201d, he commented, to the sold-out crowd.\u00a0 For this tour, it\u2019s a full on electric show, which showcased Bonamassa at his finest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">During the powerful performance of \u201cNo Good Place for the Lonely\u201d, Bonamassa ripped through an incredible guitar solo, so intense, it brought the crowd to their feet as they cheered and clapped in awestruck approval.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">It was a little better than halfway through the set that he briefly removed his trademark sunglasses and spoke as he introduced his all-star band. The essential core of his band performed as a tight ensemble, with Reese Wynans on keyboards, the legendary drummer Anton Figs, Michael Rhodes on bass, Lee Thornburg; trumpet,\u00a0 Paulie Cerra; saxophone, and the best back up singers from Australia, Jade MacRae and Juanita Tippens.\u00a0\u00a0 Bonamassa is not one for the chit chat of banter, it was time to return to the music.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Also mixed into the set were concert favorites, \u201cHow Deep This River Runs\u201d, the pounding \u201cSlow Train\u201d, and a cover of Led Zeppelin\u2019s \u201cBoogie With Stu\u201d.\u00a0 Bonamassa insisted that the audience rise to their feet and boogie along.\u00a0 The set came to a close with \u201cLast Kiss\u201d and \u201cHow Many More Times.\u201d\u00a0 Bonamassa returned for an encore performance of \u201cHummingbird\u201d.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;
